$1 billion dollar investment in Turkey from BYD and BYD production will start in 2026.

According to information provided to Bloomberg by senior officials, Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is set to announce a $1 billion investment in Turkey.

BYD production will start in 2026.

BYD Turkey General Manager İsmail Ergün said in her statement to CNBC-e, "We have an initial capacity plan of 150 thousand and we can increase it with land expansion.”
